To accelerate the upgrades of local and specific industries: focusing on mold and die industries, fastener industries, and logistics industries. The major technologies are as following:
1. Design, analysis and manufacture process of precision machinery
2. E-commerce and network security.
3. Integration of computer and communication.
4. Environmental control, safety, sanitation and inspection.
5. Financial operations and management.
6. Logistics marketing and warehousing management.
::. Incubating Scope
Our center gives assistance to the resident firms which are capable of innovation and R&D in local and specific industries. We not only offer the innovation in designing and processing as well as new products development, but also provide commercial information services such as finance, accounting, taxation, marketing, foreign trade, human resource, training, law and intellectual property.
::. Development Goals
We combine the related resources of faculties, departments, graduate schools and research centers in our university, and also focus on local and specific industrial clusters in incubating to proceed with innovation and business start-up.
1. Short-term goals: to promote the upgrades of local and specific industries, particularly the mold, fastener, and logistics industries.
2. Mid-and long term-goals: to maintain operations of more than 30 incubating companies and to establish good innovation and R&D technologies so as to improve industrial efficiency and fulfill the National Economic Development Plan.
::. Existing Resources
1. Specific incubating space, conference room, reception room, training facilities, as well as teachers, and equipment of our departments and graduate schools.
2. 201,352 books and journals, 18,445 audiovisual materials, 64,924 electronic documents and 200 databases.
3. Complete University-Industry strategic alliance system and specific incubating platform.
::.Achievements
We have implemented 9 incubating plans and there have been 18 resident firms incubated at present. To the end of 2005, the incubating companies are growing to 50. The inducing amount of investment has totaled NT$902.45 million over the years. In successful cases, we have assisted the resident firms to raise funds up to the amount of NT$1,966 million and helped them acquire the government resources worth NT$30 million and 23 patents (4 inventions, 17 utility models and 2 designs).
